Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hansen announce an-nounce the arrival of an 8-pound baby boy at their home. The young fellow came Tuesday morning and all concerned are doing nicely . " ! LOCAL ITEM5 OF J INTEREST. i ; Rev. A. V. Boand, of Mt. Pleasant, will hold regular services at the Gunnison Gun-nison chapel next Tuesday evening. The public is invited to be present. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Lyman of May-field May-field are receiving the congratulations congratula-tions over the arrival of a baby girl at their home Tuesday of this week. Both mother and daughter are getting get-ting along fine. j Mrs. K. II. Brown and children of ! Salt Lake, are in the city as the j guests of Mrs. Brown's parents, Mr. ' and Mrs. Amasa Kenney. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jepson, who have been residing at Santaquin for many months past, have disposed of their interests there and returned to Gunnison to live. Mr. Jepson will assist John Anderson, the sheepman, for the coming winter. I Mr. and Mrs. Leon Mellor are re-! re-! joicing over the arrival of a baby boy at their home at Fayette. The baby was born Sunday and tipped the scales at 11 pounds. Both j mother and boy are doing fine. Miss Edna Nelson left this morning morn-ing for a brief visit to friends at Salt Lake. She will return the first of the week and later she will go to Wilmington, Calif., to reside. i Mrs. Lois Anderson visited with friends and relatives at Ephraim last Saturday and Sunday. Orrion Myrup left for Provo last Saturday morning. He will be a student at the Brigham Young university uni-versity during the coming winter. Mrs. Lloyd Anderson entertained a number of friends at an anniversary annivers-ary party at her home Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon from two to five thirty. A delightful time and delicious refresh-j refresh-j ments were enjoyed by those present. I Andrew Anderson, who has been 'the guest at the home of Mr. and ' Mrs. Leo D. Bardsloy for several i days, returned to his home at Mor-j Mor-j oni yesterday morning. Mrs. E. Chiistensen and daughter, Sidonia Chiistensen, will leave for !
