Show What Gunnison Needs? Gunnison streets need to be introduced intro-duced to a grader. For some reason the ruts and bumps have been allowed allow-ed to "accumulate" until riding on some of the principal thoroughfares is anything but pleasant. Gel the grader to work. Speed demons, many of them living liv-ing right in this city, are getting m'ghty frisky and are flirting with the law. Most any day racers can be seen making from 18 to 25 miles and right on Main street. They 'need to be checked before someone is maimed or killed. There is dire need of signs notifying notify-ing autoists of the approach to the school buildings. Signs are needed at the Washington and at the high school. Other cities have them and safeguard the "kiddies" why not Gunnison. ; Rowdyism on the Main streets of Gunnison by "loafing" boys needs be curtained. Often times their wrestling wrest-ling and boxing on. the sidewalk, force women to take to the streets in order to get by. And too, the profanity pro-fanity used by many of the "loafers" is anything but nice and is mighty-disgusting. mighty-disgusting. It needs to be summarily summar-ily stopped. Gunnison has a curfew law that needs to be enforced. Regularly the bell is sounded, notifying those that come within this law, to vacate the stieets. Either cease the bell ringing ring-ing or enforce the law. And parents, who care for the guidance of their children, can aid materially in the enforcement of the ordinance.
