Show MAYFIELD X) NEWS ITEMS. Mrs. Charles Hampton of Joseph is here the guests of relatives and friends. Miss Clara Larsen returned home from Bingham Saturday evening. Mrs. Wallace Thompson left for Eureka Thursday where she will join her husband. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whitlock and Mrs. E. C. Scow and children left for Oranecville, Wednesday where they will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Anderson a week or ten days. Mrs. Ray Swallow delightfully entertained en-tertained Tuesday in honor of her birthday. Thirty-five guests were present. Supper was served at 5 o'clock. Richard Christiansen returned home last Sunday morning after being be-ing absent the past summer in the southern part of the state. You have friends maybe who are interested in the Gunnison Valley.
