Plans had been made to keep tlm affair from the public until after the return from the honeymoon trip, but it became, known to a few and before they left the city it. was announced that they were to be married. The bride Is tho daughter of .Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Willardson of this city. She was born in Maylield and was educated ed-ucated in the comity schools. About a year ago the Willardsons moved to Gunnison and since that time Mrs. jMetcnlf lias been a leader In social and church work. She is an accomplished accom-plished vocalist and her services here have been highly appreciated by all. Mr. Melcalf, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Melcalf, is also a native or the county, ha vlni; been born in Gunnison. Gun-nison.
