Show Final Date Set For Club Visit Another change, and the final one unless something unforeseen happens to change it, has been made in the excursion ex-cursion itinerary of the Salt Lakei 'Commercial club wholesale trades de-j partment, planned for the southern part o the state. The News has just received the revised schedule of the trip, and according to plans now mapped out out the visitors will be in Gunnison Friday, September 10. The party will arrive here more than 100 strong at 11:45 in the morning. An elaborate luncheon will 'be'seived by Mein Host Adqlp-h. Peterson of the Elite cafe and the excursionists will leave for Salina at 12:45, making the slay in Gunnison one hour. During this time, however, "things will be doing" in the city. Elaborate plans are being made by the members of the Entre Nous club and the citizens for the entertainment of the visitors. Following the luncheon there will be addresses by members of the visiting party and responses will be made by local talent. If the time will permit the visitors will be taken around the valley for a short trip through the vast and beautiful;; beet fields and a ' short visit to the G-unmson Valley Sugar Su-gar factory. , On account of the formal dedication dedica-tion of Zion National park, scheduled for September 15, the former plans of the trip by the Commercial club was deferred. The Salt Lakers are planning plan-ning on making the trip one of the mots important in the history of the organization. The prime object of the trip, though, is for the purpose of establishing es-tablishing a closer and a more friendly friend-ly relationship with the merchants and citizens of the southern part of th. There will be twenty-five automobiles automo-biles in the caravan and each of the cars will bear banners with the inscription, in-scription, "You and Me for Utah," a slogan just recently adopted by the Salt Lake organization. The trip of the "boosters" from the capitol city is vitally important in many respects and not alone is Gunnison Gun-nison making elaborate plans to entertain en-tertain the excursionists, but all other towns where stops will be made are doing likewise, and the ultimate good that will result is going to prove a valuable asset, as the visitors will be shown the wonderful resources and, through becoming "acquainted," will be better able to assist in exploiting tho great state of Utah.
