Show Anpient Honduran City. Copan is an ancient ruined city of northwestern Honduras, on the Copan river. The remains are of unknown antiquity and very extensive, stretching stretch-ing for about two miles along the river. The buildings are of stone, embracing em-bracing a temple over 600 feet long, with many sculptured figures.
