Show ! Local and Personal Mrs. Heien Hofheins has returned from a week's visit with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Earl Holmsted, at American Ameri-can Fork. Misses Verga Peterson and Ruth Christensen returned last Monday from a short visit to friends in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Parker were visitors from Redmond the early days of the week. They were here combining business with pleasure. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Sorenson and children left Wednesday morning of this week for Park Valley. They will spend the summer at the Sorenson Soren-son ranch. Ronald Norman, assistant secretary secre-tary of the J. C. Penney company at Gunnison, spent last Sunday visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. P. Norman, at Richfield. C. A. Hickenlooper and David Jones, of Salt Lake City, were here several days this week. Mr. Hickenlooper Hicken-looper expects to remove his family here next week and become a resident resi-dent of Gunnison. L. Frank, proprietor of the Gunnison Gun-nison Coop., spent several days in the city this week. Mr. Frank is assisting as-sisting in arranging for the big sale which the company will have at the store the first week in July. Mr. and Mrs. Hans Tuft of Monroe spent last Saturday in Gunnison as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J, A. Tuft. Sunday morning Mr. and Mrs. Tuft continued their journey to Vernal where Mr. Tuft will look after hi interests. Mr. and Mrs. !. M. Madsen, son and daughters and a few friends; comprising a party of ten, motored to Fish Lake last Friday, returning Saturday. They report a most delightful de-lightful trip and a more delightfu-"feast" delightfu-"feast" on fish that were caught by I members of the party. |
