Vl of District who represent a major portion por-tion in area of the lands proposed to be included therein and to be reclaimed re-claimed and benefited and to be affected af-fected by such work. 2. That the proposed drain or drains, ditch or ditches and other works are necessary and will be useful use-ful for the drainage of the lands proposed pro-posed to bo drained thereby for agricultural agri-cultural and sanitary purposes and will be conducive to the public health and welfare, AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said petition be and the same is hereby granted and that the lands included within the boundaries proposed by said petitioners, pe-titioners, be and they are hereby established es-tablished as the boundary lines of said District, and said District is hereby created and organized as a Drainage District and shall be known as "San Pete County Drainage District Dis-trict No. 1." AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board forthwith proclaim such District created, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that a proclamation procla-mation for such purpose as provided by law, and as hereinafter set forth, setting forth the boundaries of said District be published for a period of ten days, by posting the same in three public places within said San Pete County at least one of such places shall be within said drainage District hereby created and by publishing pub-lishing such proclamation in the Gunnison Valley News, a newspaper printed and published in and having a general circulation within said San Pete County. AND IT IS FURTHER HEREBV RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the following named persons from among said petitioners are hereby appointed supervisors of said San Pete County Drainage District No. 1, to-wit: W. V. England of Centerfield, San Pele County, Utah, for the term of three years. Leo D. Bardsley of Centerfield, San Pete County, Utah, for the term of two years. J. W. Nielsen of Centerfield, San Pete County, Utah, for the term of two years. That before entering upon their duties du-ties they be required to take an oath of office, as provided by law, and , that each of said supervisors execute the N. W. i of Section 6; thence North mile to the S.'W. corner of the S. E. of the N. W. of Section G; thence West mile to the West quarter corner of Section Sec-tion G; thence N. mile to the N. W.. coiner of Sec. 6, T. 20 S., K, 1 E.; thence West mile to the S. W. corner of the S. E. of the S. E. Section 36, T. 19 S. R. 1 W.; thence N. 1 mile to the S. W. corner of the S. E. of the S. E. E. of Section 24, T. 19 S., R. 1 W.; thence East 1 miles to the point of beginning, enclosing an area of approximately 3580 acres; and a particular description of the lunds proposed to be included within the boundaries of the proposed drainage district is as follows: The S. It is further ordered that said drainage district shall be known as "San Pete County Drainage District No. 1" and from and after this date shall be a body corporate and politic with the powers and duties conferred confer-red on it by law. The Board of County Commissioners Commission-ers of San Pete County, State of Utah, met in regular session on Saturday, Sat-urday, the 7th day of June, 1919, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M . , in the session room of the Board in the County Court House in the City of Manti, Slate of Utah. The following members were present: pres-ent: Commissioner L. P. Brady Commissioner C. J. Christiansen Commissioner Parley Christiansen .Chairman L. P. Brady presided. Also present F. P. Lamb, County Clerk. RESOLUTION. Commissioner C. J. ' Christiansen introduced the following resolution, and upon motion duly made ana seconded, tne same was unanimously unani-mously adopted, to-wit; WHEREAS the matter of the organization or-ganization of the proposed Drainage District to be known as "San Pete County Drainage District No. 1," having been regularly set for hearing hear-ing at this time and place, and certain cer-tain of the petitioners of said District Dis-trict being present and represented by counsel, and said petition having been regularly presented to this Board, signed by J. W. Nielson and others, and said petition coming on regularly to be heard before this Board of County Commissioners of said San Pete County this 7th day of June, 1919, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. JI., and WHEREAS it appearing from the files and records in said matter that this day has heretofore been set and fixed by the County Clerk of this County, pursuant to law, and this being a regular meeting of this Board and it further appearing that due notice of said hearing has been given by the County Clerk of this County, as provided by law. by causing caus-ing a copy of said notice to be posted at the front door of the court house of this County, the same being the County in which all the lands to be embraced in said District are situated situat-ed and likewise by causing to be posted copies thereof in three of the most public places in said proposed District, as more fully appears from the afidavit of W. V.
