Show WANT A FREE RURAL ROUTE With a view to establishing a free rural delivery for the Clarion district, dis-trict, and perhaps in the Axtell and Centerfield sections, a petition is be-;ng be-;ng prepared to be forwarded to the Fourth Assistant Postmaster at Washington, D. C. L. L. AVinegar, active in the interest of establishing the free rural route, has received application ap-plication blanks from the Washington Washing-ton headquarters, together with the necessary information, and has been busy securing the signatures of the residents who favor the move. Starting from Gunnison and ending end-ing at the south boundary lines of Clarion there are more than fifty families that would be benefited by (he new rural route and practically every family has been signed up on the petition that will be sent to the postal department at Washington. Much enthusiasm is manifest in the movement and practically every citizen is working diligently in supporting sup-porting the move started by Mr. Winegar and if the petitioners are successful in their endeavors, tho first free rural delivery for South Sanpete county will be established at Clarion. |
