Show High School Notes The modern history class showed no small understanding cf the Declaration Decla-ration of Independedce when recently recent-ly they drew a similar document, which they signed, read and presented presen-ted to Principal Ricks. To his astonishment aston-ishment it proved to be daclaratory of a stand for certain rights to the class, which they proceeded to usurp by aiming peanuts from every direction direc-tion at their principal, with only the roll book as a means of defense. The ''bullets" had free range and for the moment Mr. Kicks wondered if the "Germans" were after him. The seige over, peanuts, jokes, and recitations recita-tions were enjoyed by all the members. mem-bers. The financial returns were very good and the play enjoyed by the audience au-dience at the presentation of "Parlor Matches" by the High School dramatics drama-tics last Saturday. A prize will be given to one student of each class for the best Christmas story, also to the pupil who composes the best poem. At a studen,t body meeting Wednesday Wed-nesday it was decided to hold a dancing danc-ing party next Saturday night. Committees Com-mittees on entertainment, decoration decora-tion and refreshments, respectively, were chosen. |
