Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Mecham visited in Arizona for a few days with Linda's parents. The mini bus took a group to the temple in St. George. Orvilla Shakespeare spent 10 days in St. George, then on to Salt Lake City for additional medical care. Ella Adair attended a Garfield County Committee on Aging meeting in Henrieville. Ursel Ott and Kay Mangum are patients in the hospital in Panguitch. Ora Brinkerhoff had a few friends in to help do a quilt. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Francisco attended the wedding and reception for Pete Alvey and Delila Bundy in the St. George Temple. Brant and Shanna Barton visited in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Malen Littlefield visited with Bessie Ott in Kanab and Louie Shakes pear in Orderville. Mr. and Mrs. Blake Robinson spent a few days with daughter Ruth Baugh and family. Mr. and Mrs. Birch Moores were guests at the Baughs and took in the basketball games. Anita Francisco and the Lonny Pollock family put on the program in sacrament meeting. A Christmas party for the young people of Tropic, Cannonville and Henrieville was held Tuesday in Cannonville. " Malen Mecham attended meetings in Richfield. If anyone in the community has' news for pie paper please give it to your correspondent before 4 p.m. on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar LeFevre visited with the DeVar Pollocks and Lester Clark families. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mangum had business to attend to in St. George. The David Pollocks were up north for the weekend. Ron McGee visited with the Nielson sisters. Pauline Pollock was home for the weekend. Olva Munson is home from the hospital. Daughter Stephanie accompanied ac-companied her. Bud Mecham is home from his job in Page, Ariz. The Stan Otts had daughter Marilyn and husband home for the weekend. The Dexter Franciscos enjoyed a visit from their daughter Pat and her daughter from Arizona. E. R. Shakespear had eye surgery in St. George. |
