Show PMGUITGiJ nuns By Mamie Talbot 676-8084 Folks are getting itchy about raking and watering lawns since they are turning green, but we know we must be careful about the water supply. We hope for lots of rain since there is no snow for irrigation water. Greg and Jane Excell and children Jason and Autumn flew to Kentucky to visit their daughter, daugh-ter, Tara and family. Tara's husband, hus-band, Jared Condie is going to dental school there. The Excells were anxious to see their grandchild. grand-child. Don and Barbara Excell Marshall had lots of family here for the Easter weekend. They spent it on the West Desert (See PANGUITCH on page 3A) Panguitch News From Pase 2-K camping and four-wheeling. Mom Hilma Excell didn't go with them. She says she has had it with the wild stuff. Her daughter, Sue and husband Bruce Douglas were here from Richfield to see her during spring break. Alan and Shelley Yardley have a new baby son named Coleman West Yardley. He was born Mar. 26 in Kanab. He has two sisters, Courtney and Machele at home. Grandparents here are Jack and Ivadell i Yardley and Karl and Elaine 1 Heydorn of Kanab. 1 Our dear friend Ireta Henrie died this past week. Our love and sympathy go to Steele and family. Funeral services were held Apr. 4. j The Deseret Industries truck I will be at the Panguitch LDS Stake Center from Apr. 10 through Apr. 17 for any donations dona-tions as you are doing your spring cleaning. LDS Stake Conference will be held Apr. 13 and 14. Many people were here for i two missionary farewells on Easter Sunday. Family and ' friends filled the Panguitch LDS ! 2nd3rd Ward chapel for Steven ! Moore's farewell at 9 a.m. The Moore and Roe families gave j the program. Little Marvin i Edward Jones III was blessed by : his great-grandfather Norm j Henrie. His parents are Marvin i and Joni Burrows Jones. Marvin was able to be here from Egypt. His mother was also in attendance. Grandparents here are Robert and Martha Ann ! Leslie. Norm and Dora Ann Henrie are the great-grands. ; Ruth Burr was called as a j Family History Center worker. 1 At 1 1 a.m. on Easter Sunday, the chapel was again filled for the missionary farewell of Vern and Pam Robison, who will go to the Visitor Center at Martin's Cove in Wyoming. Their families fami-lies were here from all over the state and beyond and provided the program. It was so good to see so many of our people back home. Sherril Henrie was called as the 3rd Ward organist. Brock Soper received his Eagle Scout award. New ward members Adam and Rebecca Bronson and family were welcomed into the ward. The Bronsons live in the Henrie apartments. Jordan Pelton has received a mission call to Bangkok, Thailand. |
