Brennen is the , grandson of Max and Phyllis Stewart of Tropic and Scrib and . Deanne Giljies of Panguitch. Pete and Keela Mangum had a visit from daughter Lacee Johnson of Toquerville. She brought daughter Jannica with her to visit her grandparents. Duane and Carol Stewart had family home over the Memorial Day Weekend. Son Clay and his family were here to visit with his parents. Clare and MaryLee Ramsay had daughter Brenda and her husband Dennis Shakespear and children here for the holiday weekend. They live in Kanab. Martin and Carla Ramsay had daughter Triessa and her family and son Lucas home visiting vis-iting over the long weekend. Jean and Spring Seiler had their 'daughter Amy and family home from Parowan and son Chris and his family here from Provo. Steve and Amber Brinkerhoff Simons and their son Porter were here visiting with Ray and Ronnie Brinkerhoff, Amber's parents. Amber has been very sick but is now feeling a lot better bet-ter and looking very good. Ronnie also had a nice visit with her aunt Karen Dutton and Karen's daughter Darnell Shirley both of Cedar City.. They had been in Escalante putting', put-ting', flowers on graves and decided to stop and visit with the Brinkerhoff family. David and Debbie, and their four children, Jordan, Joseph, Joanna, and Joshua came to spend the weekend with Art and Vicki Syrett and to help out in ' the yard and house. They did a lot of work and were joined by Mike' and Stacie Jensen and -their three children, Cambry, Makay, and Ian, and Allen Syrett and daughter Jara. It was very nice having them here to give much needed help and the yard shows their labors. Thanks to all of them. On Monday, . Grandma Vicki took Makay on a j shuttle bus ride into Bryce ' Canyon and they had a very good time while Cambry and her mom Stacie went swimming. swim-ming. Over all it was a great week end. . -'. . . Mike and Dixie Burbidge had family home over the holiday. So did Rod and Kathern Syrett. AH of their children were here to celebrate brother . Sbiloh's homecoming and to enjoy the long weekend together , . .', The adorable new little baby of the Wolfert family was . blessed this weekend at LDS Sacrament meetibng. There were many family members present. We were visiting with Robyn Chynoweth who was there with her son Casey who had been admitted to the hospital on the previous evening. He was having hav-ing chest pains and difficulty breathing. Pretty scary for a young boy to have. He hopefully hopeful-ly got to come home the next day and recover there, surrounded surround-ed by love and caring parents Danny and Robyn Chynoweth of Tropic. Robyn reports that her father Delano Callahan of Henrieville, was also put into the hospital with problems and that husband Danny was also sick. Robyn, we hope everything every-thing goes well for all your loved ones and soon things will be going better for you. Wallace and Mary Ott had a houseful of very welcome guests over the Memorial Day weekend. Mary was celebrating a birthday that week as well and everyone came to say "Happy Birthday" to their mom. Bert and Irene (daughter) Emett of Cannonville, and their son Scott Emett and his family were here visiting. Sandra Houston (daughter) of Las Vegas came to see her mother and dad and stayed on when the others left to be able to take the Otts to St. George for doctor . visits. Marilyn Murdock (daughter) of , St. George; Lloyd (son) and Jan Ott and their son Logan all from , Ogden; Gary and Kathy (daugh-. ter) Davis and family of Toquerville; Kim (son) . and Kathy Ott of St. George and . their family; and Sherril ,and. Karen Ott and daughter Melinda' of Tropic all gathered tor yish. Mary a vefy Happy Birthday!" Mary said they had a grand ole' time for two days. Cambry Jensen, my granddaughter, was excited to learn she was related to Mary through the Johnson family line. Charlene Higuera of Orem, the daughter of Kent and Betty Wintch, held their annual Memorial Day reunion in Tropic. Charlene's husband Edward Higuera is buried in the Tropic Cemetary. Present to honor their dad was Heidi Beard, a daughter, and her husband hus-band Brand and their two children, chil-dren, Allen 5, Onili 4, and Rusty. The weather here turned out to be in their favor so they had an enjoyable time. Stopping in to visit was Sammy Gene Kennedy of Riverton. She is a niece of the Wintches and Betty's sister Dorothy Leavitt of Cannonville. Additional joy for the Wintch family was the birth of another great-grandson born June 1 to Adam and Symantha Wintch of Brighton, Colo. Their son, Kenneth and wife Barbara are the proud grandparents. |
