They'll open for Charlie Daniels on June 25 in Panguitch at the Triple C Arena featuring (left to right) local pharmacist Tim Smith, his brothers Openers For Charlie Daniels Will Feature Local Area Bands PANGUITCH - Watson 349, a professional cover band featuring local pharmacist Tim Smith, will be one of two opening open-ing bands for the Charlie Daniels Band on June 25 at the Triple C Arena. Following Watson 349, will be popular local band "Lone Hawk". Watson 349 has been together togeth-er for roughly eight years. Founding members Brad Dahl (bass), Dan Smith (drums) and Tim Smith (guitars and vocals), Dan Smith and Brad Dahl along with Steve Witt, Jeremy Wolfe and Steve Faux. Also featured will be popular local band "Lone Hawk" on what promises to be one of the most exciting nights in Panguitch history. who are brothers, are all health care professionals by day and rockers on the nights and weekends. week-ends. The lineup is completed by Steve Witt (guitars and vocals), Steve Faux (vocals) and Jeremy Wolfe (lead guitar). The group originally formed in order to perform for cancer victims and their siblings, ages 12 to 18 at a summer camp. It soon became apparent that this talented bunch was appreciated by a much wider audience. They now play at holiday events, private pri-vate parties and just about anywhere any-where that people want to rock. Following Watson 349 and performing just before Charlie Daniels will be popular local band "Lone Hawk" with Lynn Griffin, Escalante, on guitar and keyboards; his son Mike, Cedar City, on lead guitar; Roger . Alcott, lead singer and Dave Durfee, drums, both Cedar City; and Gary Griffin, Spanish Fork, on Bass. |
