Many were part of the Volney King and Fannie Wallace King family reunion re-union held at the Rockin' R Ranch July 13-15. Another interesting event on Saturday was the special memorial service held here at the cemetery for Levi Hamilton McCullough. He was being honored as a member of the Mormon Battalion, Inc., Southern South-ern Utah Division, Kane County, . with Lt. Colonel Howard Roberts, Cpt. Brad Hainsworth, Lt. Sheron DeSpain, Sgt. Larry Casebolt. Cpl. Dennis Pace, Pvt. Luke Vreeken, and Pvt. Brannon Vaughn. Company Compa-ny B: Major Don Schurtz, Cpt. Terry Wirth, and Lt. General Carl V. Larsen. They presented a plaque ( for his grave. Volney was the seventh child of Cuthbert and Eliza King. Many relatives came to enjoy en-joy the weekend reunion and to attend the services. There are still several relatives living here related either to the McCulloughs or the Kings. Also taking part in the program pro-gram were Larry R. King, LaVell King, Raymond King, and David F. King. Speakers from the LDS High Council on Sunday were Devon Owens and Calvin Poll of Panguitch. Pan-guitch. Tom and Charla Ricketts and family of Las Vegas and Chantell and Fred Bronsema of Enoch joined their brothers Chantry, Chace, Ladd and Dustin and families and they all went down to Kingston to meet with the rest of Irva and Pete Sudweeks' children and grandchildren grandchil-dren for a full day of service around the place and lots of cousin- 1 (See ANTIMONY on page 7-A) ANTIMONY From Page 6-A . visiting. With no special activities planned for Antimony on the 24th of July, folks from here will be attending celebrations elsewhere. The landscaping truck has been up at the Town Park where workers are installing a new sprinkling system. sys-tem. Dorthy Stratton and some of her family were here for the weekend and had some of the visitors here for the memorial service. Ken and Mary Hill recently : celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary anni-versary at their home in Henderson, Nev. All their children and grand- children were there along with their first great-grandchild. |
