Show Highway 12 Corridor Meetings Set For Four Local Communities ., PANGUITCH The Scenic' Byway 12 AJJ-American Road Designation Steering Committee Comm-ittee has completed the draft of a Corridor Management Plan for Highway 12. The Steering Committee will share the planning plan-ning process it has initiated and receive comments and suggestions sugges-tions from the public. Chairman of the Steering Committee Bruce Fullmer, announced the following meetings meet-ings each to begin at 7 p.m. Bicknell -.Monday, Oct. 29, at the Wayne High School Auditorium, 265 North 400 West. Boulder - Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Boulder Community Center, 351 North 100 East. Panguitch - Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Panguitch City Council Chambers, 25 South 200 East. Escalante - Wednesday, Nov. 7, Escalante City Council Chambers, 56 North 100 West. Tropic - Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Bryce Valley High School Auditorium, 721 West Bryce Way. The public is invited to attend any and all of the meetings to learn more about the project and to provide input to the process. The steering committee organizing the All-American Road Designation application includes: Garfield and Wayne County Governments, Forest Service - Dixie National Forest, Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks, Bureau of Land Management - Grand Staircase -Escalante National Monument, Farm Bureau, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Utah Depar-tment of Transportation, Utah Travel Council, Federal Highway Administration, Ana-sazi Ana-sazi Village State Park, and the communities of Boulder, Escalante, Henrieville, Cannon-ville, Cannon-ville, and Tropic. |
