Randy and Ricky took their parents up to Salt Lake City. On Sunday evening, Gretchen Didion, daughter of Jeremy and Jan Wiley of St. David, Ariz., called her grandparents Van and Betty Wiley to tell them five young people peo-ple had been in Salt Lake City to attend LDS General Conference and would stop and spend the night and then go home on Monday. Those who came were Amy Welker, Gilbert, Gil-bert, Ariz.; Richard and Rachel Davidson, St. David, Ariz.; Trent Newswander, Tucson, Ariz., and granddaughter,Gretchen who is liv- Ing in Tucson and attending college at the University of Arizona. What a nice bunch of young people. There wil be a fund raiser for Wade Wiley from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Apr. 28 at the field east of the Otter Creek Park. Tim and Holly Westwood were in Cedar City on Sunday for the blessing of Shawn Westwood's new baby boy. He was given the name Russell. On Thursday, Holly traveled trav-eled to Alton and stayed until Saturday Sat-urday to help her mother. Coming to visit on the weekend with the Afton Bloods and the Layne Bloods were Scott and Cami Zingleman and family of Enoch and Brian and Kathy Blood and kids of Richfield. Also Michelle Blood and her roommate from Salt Lake City came down. Kay Jolley of Price and his son, Masiel Jolley were here for about a week at Kay's house in Angle. Barbara Gleave is going to be working at The Station in Cir-cleville. Cir-cleville. Kim Dalton was busy up here working on the ditches two days with his equipment. Bill and Jane Wiley and Wade and Jennifer Wiley and their boys have gone to the Nevada State Fair and will be staying with Jane's family. Max and Pat Ricketts came on the weekend bringing more of their furniture and supplies to finish their house as they are getting ready to move here. |
