Show By Betty Wiley 624-3215 The Antimony LDS Ward Young Womens leaders Mary Jean Willis, Julie Allen and Judy Fielding Field-ing took their girls to the Shakespearean Shake-spearean Festival in Cedar City on Monday. The girls who participated partici-pated were Heather Allen, Kristi Gleave, Halley Shepherd, Leslie Fielding, Hanna Porter, Alisha Montague, Kathy Gleave, Kody and Kami Willis, Crystal Trujillo, Mary Dell Lindgren and others. McKay Allen, representing Piute Pi-ute High School, attended the UREA at Snow College in Ephraim and he was awarded one of the scholarships which will be money toward college expenses. Congratulations! All of the children, grandchildren grandchil-dren and great-grandchildren of Van and Betty Wiley were here over the weekend to celebrate their parents' 60th wedding anniversary. The group totaled about 50. Jeremy and Jan Wiley of St. David, Ariz.; Mar-cia Mar-cia Tobiasson, Bill Wiley and Tom Wiley of Antimony, Tom and Sally Jo East of Mt. Pleasant; Raymond and Roma Henrie of American Fork, plus all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Burns and Mona Black went to the American Fork LDS Temple for ; the wedding of their granddaughter, ( daughter of the Rodney Blacks. Gayle Ipson is getting ready to ' go back to Arizona to make preparations prepa-rations for her teaching job on the Indian Reservation. She has taught there several years and loves it. The Gary Hansens have an- ' nounced the wedding of their son,. Michael to Kathryn Gardner of Delta. A reception will be held in Delta and also one here in Anti- mony on Aug. 18. As of today can't find any information in-formation about the Antimony Town elections. Elections will be for a new mayor and two council-men. council-men. ' |
