Show rea Obituaries Que Allen Porter ESCALANTE, Utah Que Allen Porter, 81, of Escalante, Utah, passed away Sept. 29, 2001, in Panguitch, Utah. He was bom April 30, 1920, in Escalante, Utah, to Parley Pratt and Mattie Allen Porter. He married Cecildawn Houston, March 22, 1946Min Salt Lake City. The marriage was solemnized solem-nized in the Logan LDS Temple, January 30, 1953. Que was an active member of the LDS Churcji where he was a High Priest. He was a veteran of WWII where he served in Europe and was in the 3rd wave in Normandy at the invasion of D-day. , -, " He is survived by his wife, Cecildawn of Escalante; children, chil-dren, Sandra 'Dawn Porter, Escalante; Joyce P. Muir, Panguitch; Allen Arthur Porter, Blaine Pratt (Nancy) Porter, both of Escalante; Lorie Ann (Dave) Walters, Midvale; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and ,a brother, Max L. Porter, Escalante. He was preceded in death by . his parents, a brother, Thurland ' ' 4 X ...,' I " i I Que Porter Porter; a brother-in-law, Doreen (Dick) Schow; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Porter. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. in the Escalante 1st LDS Ward' Chapel.
