Show PMJGUmXJ CM'JS I By Earl Roe 676-2376 wearlroeyahoo.com News item of the week! Barbara Heaton is home again, hopefully to stay. Panguitch LDS 4th Ward members really got an Easter surprise when they saw her at church and looking so well. It it were not for her being in a wheelchair, her appearance and attitude would make anyone ' think she had never been ill. She is still having chemotherapy, but if attitude, spirit and faith are as helpful in overcoming an illness ; as doctors say they are, Barbara : will be the winner in her battle with cancer. I understand that Dorothy ; Houston is back home following her being lifeflighted to a Salt : Lake City hospital. I asked her sister-in-law, Opal Miller if she had had any word about - Dorothy and she said that she is back in Panguitch, but spending ' some time Extended Care Center at our hospital. Kevin, Deanna, and LaVenda ; Moore left on the Apr. 13 for ; Oxnard, Calif., to get Kevin and ; Deanna's son Steven who com- pleted his LDS mission on Apr. 14. (LaVenda bought a new car for the trip) They spent an extra day in the area meeting and visiting vis-iting with some ,of Steven's friends and some of his converts to the LDS Church. Deanna said they were treated to some of the best authentic Mexican food she has ever tasted. (Hopefully she got some of the recipes.) Boyd and Ranae Owens and Art and Beverly Crosby are back home after spending a couple cou-ple of days in Mesquite, Nev., getting a little R&R following the hustle and bustle of the Easter weekend. Beverly said they did not get home any richer, rich-er, so the horses must not have been running right. Julie and Jill Chidester had their brother Bart and his wife Julie, drop in to spend the Easter weekend with them and to visit with other relatives and friends in town. Bart and Julie live in Logan. If anyone out there is interested interest-ed in giving this a try, give me a call (phone, letter, or internet).
