Show - m fwfv'ssf. m ... wnwtwwf 1 The Easter Bunny outdid himself on Easter Sunday at Rubys Inn when he left a round object in the grass near the gas pumps. It wasn't an Easter Egg, it was Logann Eagar's long-lost wedding ring. Marcia Maxwell (left) visiting vis-iting from Redmond, Wash., walking her dog, spotted the cherished heirloom ring and connected with the very happy lady from Henrieville. It Was A Happy Easter Sunday Indeed For An Eager Logann Eagar BRYCE Logann Eagar of Henrieville lost her cherished heirloom wedding ring on Feb. 27. As soon as she recognized her loss, she went back to every place she'd been that day. Husband Max searched well into the night and for weeks after, even borrowing a friend's metal detector to aid in his quest. Logann wept and wept, and the two prayed and prayed together, but no ring. Just last week. Marcia Maxwell of Redmond, Wash., and her family were staying at Rubys Inn for a conference, conference. Walking the family dog past the gas pumps, she stopped and saw the rings glistening glis-tening in the nearby grass. Retrieving the ring, Marcia asked at Rubys front desk if anyone had reported losing a wedding ring. Marcia said she was too nervous to even show it. Luckily, she had gone up to Yolanda Lamas, the only clerk on duty at the time who even knew of Logann's loss, but at first Yolanda didn't remember. After all, it had been nearly three months earlier. Then she remembered weeping Logann's loss. Yolanda connected Marcia to Logann and after Logann had described the ring she'd lost, Marcia handed it to her saying, "Well, Happy Easter! I've found your wedding ring!" An eager Logann Eagar gratefully accepted it and found a wonderful new friend as the two posed for the camera smiling smil-ing together on an Easter Sunday that obviously made them both happy! |
