He stayed for a week and also went to Page, Ariz., to visit his mother Jackie Blais and he spent some time with friends in the area traveling back and forth between all three places. He had to return to Idaho to go back to college in Boise. Phil and Jackie Blais came to Tropic to visit for a few hours in the afternoon on Saturday. Janet received an announcement, from grand-daughter.Jennifer grand-daughter.Jennifer . Tucker of Roosevelt who graduated from the Police AcademyUintah Basin Applied Technology in Roosevelt with high honors, on Sept. 27. - Her husband is also in law enforcement, Jennifer is the daughter of Jackie Blais. Dixie Shakespear reports that she has had a lot of family members mem-bers stopping by for a visit and to check up on her. Her brother Heber Hall came by on his way to Boulder. The daughters of her nephew Ross Dodds also visited and they all went to Kodachrome State Park to enjoy the scenery. The girls love this country and come often to visit. They also went to see Malen and Marian Mecham, Obie and June Shakespear, and the family of Rhea Dodds of Panguitch. Rhea is 97 years old and going strong. LuAnn Dodds, the girls' mother, is at home waiting for a heart transplant. We wish her the best of luck. The girls who came to .visit were Laurie, Gina, Cammie, and Shawna Dodds. They are all Dixie's great-nieces. great-nieces. The Tropic LDS Ward ' Primary put on the Sacrament Meeting on Sunday. They are such special children and it is fun to watch and listen to them. They did so well and the leaders are to be commended for such a fine program. |
