Show Canncnvilk (taws By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Deane and Ron Baugh, and Everett and Brook Westerman, Salt Lake City, were at Gloria Clark's home for the deer hunt. Gloria worked at the Ruby's Inn Post Office for several days this week so Sandrea could be in St. George with her mother EvaDean Francisco, who underwent under-went back surgery. Reports are that she is doing better. We all wish you well. Kevin and Cheryl Garrett and children, Lindsay, Brandon, Cay-den Cay-den and Caitlyn, Cedar City spent, the weekend with parents, Jim and Erma Clarke. Jim attended at-tended a Lions Club meeting in Moroni Wednesday evening. Phyllis Beard, Rita Hammer, Kay Dunham, and Erma Clarke took Anita Fletcher to Ruby's Inn for lunch on Thursday to celebrate her birthday. Fred and Debbie Senn and family are moving to Panguitch. John and Ramona Morreale went to St. George to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Bryce and Gail Fletcher went to Spring City to visit their brother-in-law and sister, David and Deniece Broderick. Many parents and school children chil-dren were excited to attend the elementary school Halloween carnival in Tropic. It's a happy time for little ghosts and goblins and everyone enjoys seeing the children perform in costume. Rosemary Fletcher, Cedar City, spent Thursday with her mom Marva. They went to the Care Center and brought Clele home for the afternoon, stopping at Bryce Canyon Pines for dinner. Paul and JoNell D'Mura and daughter, Tonya of Phoenix, Ariz., came to visit the Mel Beard family, and to see the autumn beauties of southern Utah. They went to both Bryce and Zion National Parks and other beautifully beauti-fully scenic sites while here. Mae and Arjean Twitchell returned re-turned home Wednesday from Salt Lake City. They spent several sev-eral days at the Primary Children's Chil-dren's Hospital with the Carl Munford family. Cami Munford underwent 1 1 hours of surgery to have the cancerous bone removed from her leg and another piece grafted in. The word they received re-ceived . is. that she is improving and they even got her up for a few minutes. Everyone is hoping and praying, along with the medical staff, that she is going to be able to come home soon and be all well again. It has been a very painful time for her' and most difficult dif-ficult for her family and friends. Mae said "She is surely a brave little girl". ' . |
