Show Antimony News By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Burns and Mona Black spent the weekend up north with their son and daughter in law, Lance and Michelle Mi-chelle Black, and family where hoped to get a little shopping done. Afton and Carol Blood traveled to Las Vegas for a few days as Afton has meetings in Las Vegas for three days this week. The Marcus Gleave family had their Christmas Party and celebrated Margaret's birthday a little early at the Rockin' R. This was so fortunate, fortu-nate, as Margaret passed away at Garfield Memorial Hospital in Pan-guitch Pan-guitch on Monday night of double pneumonia and complications. Her funeral was held on Saturday and she was buried in Widtsoe as she requested. The Bantam ball season is here and we have two stars on the team, Kwin Willis and Bryce Allen. The youth speaker at LDS sacrament sac-rament meeting Sunday was Jennie King. Eugene and Valeria King were the two adult speakers. The LDS Primary did the Christmas Program on Sunday, Dec. 19. Friday is the Antimony LDS Ward Temple day and it is hoped that several couples will attend. The Panguitch LDS Stake New Year's Eve Party Dec. 31 will be held in Panguitch at the high school. Hal and Athalia Jensen traveled to Cedar City to do some Christmas Christ-mas shopping. Jerry and Janene Savage attended a family funeral in Las Vegas and later were joined by the Keith Savages Sav-ages of Cedar City and literally shopped till they dropped. Marcia Tobiasson spent some time shopping in Richfield with her two sons, then went up north and came home on Sunday. Verlene Gleave went to St. George with the Calvin Gleaves to visit with two daughters, Nedra and Kristina. |
