Show m p p. By Mayall Sawyer 735-4207 Calvin and Ruth Wilsom received re-ceived word of the death of her brother, Vere (Barney) Barnhurst, of Las Vegas, Nev. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ila. He has one son, Jeff Barnhurst of Las Vegas. Cassie Mack and sister Melissa of Fullerton, Calif, are here for a few days. They are visiting friends and fixing their buisness. The Hatch TownLDS Ward held their annual joint Christmas dinner and program on the Dec. 14. The Primary and M.I.A. put on the program, Santa visited the children, and brought them sacks of candy. May Sawyer, Valeene Roberts, and Kelly and Lynn Dix attended a Christmas party for the EMT's of the county, at Ruby's Inn. While there, Kelly and May received new jackets, along with all the other EMT's in the county. A lovely dinner'of prime rib was enjoyed by all. Robert McCollough was hon-ered hon-ered for his long and outstanding service to the county. He retired as the EMS Director. Hatch Town held a Christmas Lighting contest. The winners were anounced at the townward party. First place home was Janett Young's. Second place was John and Becky Brooks, with help of daughter Tracy. , Darol and Beth Allred returned home from their trip to California on Thursday: Caroline Doughty went to California Cali-fornia on Wednesday to help move her mother to St.George. May Sawyer is the proud great-grandmother great-grandmother of another great-grandson great-grandson born to David and Stepha- nie Roberts of Henrieville, Steven (See HATCH on Page 5-A) HATCH From Page 4-A Shayde Roberts. He has two brothers, broth-ers, Colton and Hayden Roberts of Henrieville. Grandparents are Steve and Kathy Goulding of Henrieville and great-grandmother Elsie Goulding Gould-ing at the care center in Panguitch. Ken and Valeene Roberts of Antimony, Anti-mony, and Don Woodmancy of California and also other proud grandparents. Shauna and Shilo Hatch of Panguitch Pan-guitch visited Shirley Wilhelm on Wednesday. Due to the unavailability of a shopping mall at Hatch, the residents resi-dents of have practically evacuated the town trying to get their Christmas shopping done.
