Show New Sign At Baptist Church Here A new sign graces the front lawn at the New Beginning Baptist Church on South Main Street in Panguitch. The sign was erected by church members and Pastor Jim Townzen at a special work day held Saturday. Member volunteers spent much of the day sprucing up the premises and erecting the sign in anticipation of Sunday's special meeting where more than 100 Southern Baptists from all over southern Utah participated. partic-ipated. The afternoon meeting marked a gathering of Southern Baptists whose churches are members of the Southern Utah Southern Baptist Association. Along with the meeting which featured special music, those attending enjoyed a potluck luncheon lun-cheon and puppet show. |
