Show - Boulder Hews - LeNora LeFevre Mr. and Mrs. Bud Ormond from American Fork came to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Burns Ormond. Mr. and Mrs. Max Bchunin's son Farlan Behunin and Mary Thomas from Vernal were married on March 26. The Max Behunins enjoyed a visit with their grandson Jerry Sawyer of Logan who spent the weekend with them. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Frost, Monticello, were visitors at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Frost and enjoyed seeing their four grandchildren. grandchil-dren. Boulder Ward has a new Relief Society presidency. On April 10 Elaine Roundy was released as president, and Barbara Gardner as first counselor, Vida Frost as second counselors and Idona Haws as secretary. Sustained as new officers were Dot Coombs, president; Janis Reed, first counselor; and Gladys LeFevre, second counselor. Speakers in sacrament meeting were Doyle Moosman and Mary Jane Coombs and Vernon Reed sang a song. Golda Haws spent over two weeks with her daughter and son-in-law, the Dean Tuckers at Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Coombs traveled to Salt Lake City with their children Natalie, Connie, Curtis, and Ravin to attend the University of Utah State History Fair. Their daughter Natalie had participated in the study of Western" History at Cedar City and was eligible eli-gible to go to State where she again participated with the group there. On their way home they stopped by to see Dot Coomb's sister LeVee Wisconde. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lyman are grandparents of a baby boy born to Mr. and Mrs. David Shaw on April 8. Dorothy Lyman went to West Jordan to see the baby and to help daughter Alice Shaw for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Jepsen, Neta Poulson, Ilia Winn, Genevieve Weir, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Haws who came to Boulder for a visit all went to Payson where they attended the 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Mel King. Neta Poulson, Ilia Winn, and Genevieve Weir went on to Salt Lake City to the airport where Genevieve Weir flew back to Pennsylvania. Mr. and Mrs. Wulf Barsch made a business trip to Austin, Texas, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Haws were in Panguitch for Idona's dental appointment. ap-pointment. LeNora LeFevre accompanied by her brother Heber Hall visited with Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Shakespear and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Litllefield at Tropic. There are lots of deer and logging trucks on the Salt Gulch Road these days and there is ; snow on the Boulder Mountain and rain in the valley. |
