Show - Tropic Topics - LeNora LeFevre Elaine Roundy and her two daughters Brenda Roundy and Roberta Roundy flew to Washington Washing-ton D.C. where they spent a week sightseeing. Elaine Roundy has a new granddaughter born June 21 to Mr. and Mrs. Andy Anderson of Las Vegas. Brenda Catmull's nephew Joe Mix from Wyoming stayed a week at the Catmull home. Brian Roundy and Matt Liston won first place team roping at Hcber and each came home with a new saddle. In July they will go to Pueblo, Colo., where they will compete in the rodeo held there. Evonne Roundy and Stacey Davis, Andrea Roundy, Connie Coombs, Jolene Lyman and Lind-sey Lind-sey Wescott all went to Tropic Reservoir to join groups of girls from all over the county at the girls camp there. Kelly Roundy and his cousin left with two trailer loads of bulls for Blue Water, N.M., June 27. Jean Roundy, Kelly's mother from Blue Water, N.M., came for the July 4th celebration and will go to Hatch for a reunion while here at the Kelly Roundy home. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Wescott and their four children Lindsey, Brian, Lane, and Kyle from Rexburg, Ida., are living in Boulder. Dave Wescott is the owner of the survival school. Lucile Proctor Utah State University Uni-versity Extension Home Economist from Panguitch was in Boulder testing pressure cookers; Mclba Mathews from Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Mathews from Washington state came to see Uvada Moosman. Kathleen Winters from Las Vegas Ve-gas is here to spend a month with her mother Alice Alvey. Vida Frost and her children went to Monticello for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Frost. Neta Poulson went to be with her children in northern Utah. Her daughter Sherry Lee Morgan is slowly recovering from heart surgery. Fay Jepsen has retired from Utah State Parks having worked for 17 years at the Anasazi Indian Village Historical site in Boulder. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Jepsen went to Grand Junction, Colo., to meet their son and daughter-in-law the Neal Henry Jepsens. They will bring grandson Jeffery Jepsen back to Boulder for a week's vacation. Fay Jepsen's sister Genevieve Weir is on a three week's tour of Japan. Twila McDonald had a dental appointment with Dr. Warren Woolsey in Cedar City. Her husband hus-band Scott McDonald is flying to . Las Vegas from Dufer, Ore. Twila will meet him there and they will return to Boulder. Mr. and Mrs. Max Behunin are the grandparents of a baby boy bora to Mr. and Mrs. Lane Chappell from Lyman. The baby was born June 21. His name is Kelly Lane Chappell. Mr. and Mrs. Max Behunin went to Torrey July 2 for Torrey's bicentennial celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Mac LeFevre and grandsons Keith LeFevre and Shawn LeFevre went to Tropic for the LeFevre reunion June 25. Guests at the Mac LeFevTe home were Mr. and Mrs. Bill LeFevre, their daughter Sharon Kay LeFevre and Mr. and Mrs. Burke Hafen from Richfield. Dr. Hcber Hall and friend Ralph Bounds from Salt Lake City are at Hcbcr's cabin. LeNora LeFevre went with Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Shakespcar and Clclla Littlefield to Tcasdale to visit with Lorea Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hamm. The Lyman reunion was held in Boulder at the community center with over 150 descendents of France and Hazel Lyman present. Truman Lyman, Kirk Lyman, Ivan Lyman, LaRue Wentworth, Edith Isaacson, Loya Gubler, Lincoln Lyman, Opei Spencer and Dale Lyman came with their children and their grandchildren. |
