Show Christian Fellowship rmn Draws Hundreds TROPIC Members of the non-denominational Christian fellowship fel-lowship who meet each Saturday in Tropic attended the Old Fashioned Christian Camp Meeting in Parowan Canyon June 29-July 3. They joined with hundreds of other Christians from all over the western U.S. to hear speakers, both local and from as far away as cni-na, cni-na, India and Canada. Meetings were held twice daily under the big ten ...at 10 a.m and 7 p.m. A special children s tent fea- turcd "children's church" with mu I sic lessons and entertainment and! educational puppet shows to chaj i lengc the youngsters to learn more! about Jesus Christ. j Youth meetings for teenagers and: young adults were held each evening at 6. A final meeting was! held Saturday evening early f0, young people. . j Music at the tent meetings was provided by a variety of musicians.; Speakers centered their remarks oc learning God's promises to his children as outlined in theBible,: living a life committed to Jesus Christ, the approaching return of the Savior, and praise and worship as a means to enjoy the presence of God. . i The camp meeting was sponsored spon-sored on a non-profit basis by the Assembly of Jesus Christ ir Parowan, a non-denominational fellowship, with all donations distributed dis-tributed among the ministries' represented. j |
