Show Batch Mayall Sawyer 735-4207 Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs were Mr. and Mrs. John Riggs of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Darol Allred of Washington were here at their home. Janet Houston of Beaver was here to visit them. Ada Nordell, Washington, visited Julia Turek over the holiday. Visiting Visit-ing Lilith Wilson and enjoying Wilson Canyon were the Russell Wilsons, Delta; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilson, St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Scott Poulson, Riverton; the Kent Wilsons, Parowan; and the Carl Wilsons, St. George. Lilith Wilson just returned home after spending a week with the Russell Wilsons at Delta. Will Lane, Page, Ariz., came to visit his family and the Calvin Wilsons. Mr. and Mrs. Will Lane took McArthur Lane and Christopher Christo-pher Lane to Provo Sunday where they participated in the "Freedom Festival Run." There were 461 runners who ran 10 kilometers or 6.2 miles. Christopher Lane came in 66th. McArthur Lane came in 20lh, but took first place in his age group and received a plaque. They are the grandchildren of the Calvin Wilsons. Curtis Wilson, Cedar City, visited vis-ited the Calvin Wilsons last week. Mel Barnhurst and Shela Nesbitt were married at St. George in the Friendship Center on July 4. Attending At-tending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Wilson, Mr. and Mrs Garth Heap, Wallace Heap, Don Heap, Dcanna Heap, Sherril Sawyer, Cindy Sawyer, Laura Pendleton, and Don Pendleton. The Calvin Wilsons, Curtis Wilson and the Will Lane's went to the Mammoth Cave for an outing. Carla Sawyer went to Salt Lake City last week on business. The Dan Beardalls of Hurricane are running the rock shop this summer. Valccnc Roberts, Antimony; Mr and Mrs. Kent Sawyer, and Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Sawyer, Cedar City; and the Kerry Sawyers, Panguitch spent the weekend with May Sawyer. Other visitors were Grant and Evelyn Back or Cedar City. The people of the town of Hatch held their annual festivities Monday, Mon-day, July 4, with a flag ceremony, a parade for the children's races, a program, baseball, a watermelon bust and a movie. Gib Clark, Kanab, was here working on his property during the weekend. |
