' Elder David Shakespear Shakespear To Serve Mission In South Africa TROPIC Elder David Joseph Shakespear has been called to serve as a missionary for the LDS Church in the South Africa Cape Town Mission under President Kenneth Armstrong. A farewell in his honor will be held on Sunday, May 28 at the Tropic LDS Ward chapel at 11:50 a.m. He will enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo on June 7. Elder Shakespear excelled in athletics at Bryce Valley High School where he graduated in 1994. He is a four-year graduate of LDS Seminary and is the 15th of 16 missionaries now called to serve from the Tropic Ward. His older brother Ryan is serving in Perth, Australia. He is a son of Franz and Margaret Mar-garet Shakespear of Tropic and a grandson of the late Wm. Vernal Shakespear and Malen and Marian S. Mecham, also of Tropic, and Joseph F. and Marian P. Nielson of Bluewater, N.M. |
