Show Garfield County Schools To Graduate 76 Tonight Garfield County's three high schools will graduate a total of 76 seniors Thursday night, May 25. Panguitch High School claims the largest graduating class with 47. Bryce Valley will hold commencement commence-ment exercises for 16 and Escalante will graduate 13. Commencement exercises will start at 7 p.m. at the PHS gymnasium gymna-sium as the candidates enter with a processional to the traditional "Pomp and Circumstance", with music provided by Rick Swanger. The graduating seniors will sing "I'll Remember" after which the invocation will be offered by Jennie Pierson. Jared Black and Suzanne Bulkley will both give the salutatory addresses, followed by the graduating class singing "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye." Amber Miller and Jamie Hatch will introduce the graduates and Principal Prin-cipal Ted Chidester will announce scholarships. Wendy Woolsey will also provide a salutatory address, followed by the song, "Friends". Principal Chidester will present the candidates for graduation who will receive their diplomas from school board members. The graduates grad-uates will present a slide show and Jessica Torgerson will offer the valedictory address. The graduation graduat-ion program will conclude with a benediction by Mitchell Miller. Class advisors have been Janice B. Hatch, Curtis Barney and Debbie Pollock. The candidates for graduation include Kristy Barabas, Jared Black, Melissa Boshell, Chad Brinkerhoff, Suzanne Bulkley, Sio-ney Sio-ney Burningham, Misti Burrows, Jerry Callies, Blake Dalton, Robert Foy, Leland Marshall, Christina Martinez, Amber Miller, Melissa Miller, Mitchell Miller, Mark Munson, Jr., Holly Nelson, Kyle Nowers, Kristen Osborn, Daniel Petersen, David Petersen, Jennie Pierson, Christina Prince, Mindy Righetti, Chip Sanders, Benjamin Savage, Lance Sawyer, Desiree Sidwell, Kristine Swanger, Kenneth Tebbs, Jessica Torgerson, and Wendy Woolsey. Bryce Valley's commencement exercises will start at 8 p.m. at the school's auditorium with a processional pro-cessional of 1995 graduating class.members Class President Steve Barker will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Members of the class will sing "One Moment in Time" directed by Collette Mathews and accompanied by Crystal Mortensen. Addresses by next be .iven by class valedictorian Rebecca Johnson and class salutatorian Holly Anderson. Michon Ott will introduce guest speaker Tyler Wilkinson who will be followed by the class singing "The Dance". Mandy Sciler will present a video of class activities. Student body president Tyson -Brinkerhoff will challenge the class and counselor Carl Shake-spear Shake-spear will announce scholarships. Principal Earl Slack will recom mend the class for graduation. Superintendent Phil Blais and school board member Trish Thompson Thomp-son will accept the class and confer diplomas. Steve Barker will introduce intro-duce the graduates who will sing the Bryce Valley school song 'ed by the senior cheerleaders. A recessional will be followed by a gathering of parents and graduates grad-uates in the gymnasium. Candidates for graduation at Bryce Valley High School include Holly Anderson, Steve Barker, Heather Bowman, Tyson Brinkerhoff, Brinker-hoff, Tanya Feltner, Rebecca Johnson, Derek Mathews, Shannon Muir, Michon Ott, Bowdie Pollock, Derrick Pollock, Joy Pollock, Lenny Pollock, Kasidi Richards, Mandy Seiler, and David Shakespear. Graduation ceremonies at Esca-ante Esca-ante High School also begin at 8 p.m. with a processional march. Graduating Senior Class President Katie Munson will present an official welcome. Graduation candidates can-didates Class Vice President Rachel Carter, Jamie Barnson, Heath Spencer and Ben Venuti will give a class history and Rachel Carter will introduce guest speaker Sharol Bernardo. A prognostication will be presented by seniors Dusty Sorenson, Jaime Griffin, Brent Thomson, Class Secretary Amy Wheeler and David Fischer. Amy Wheeler will introduce guest speaker Coach Jim Smith who has also served as class advisor. He will be followed by Jeremy Mclnelly, Katie Munson, and Jimmy Catmull reading the class will. Principal Myron Cottam will present the members of the graduating grad-uating class who will receive their diplomas from school board members mem-bers Dell LeFevre and Marc McLe-more. McLe-more.
