Show By Mamie Talbot 676-8084 The little rains lately have helped green up the valley. The view from the Panguitch Lake hill makes a very pleasant sight. Lots of home town folks and friends from the surrounding area as well as all the Riggs family were here for the funeral of Myrtle Riggs. Jennifer Yardley, daughter of the Bob Yardleys, graduated from Panguitch 3rd Ward LDS Primary. Many visitors were in Panguitch for the 4th of July celebration. cele-bration. One tourist couple at the fairgrounds was delighted and surprised sur-prised with the fact that the parade, dinner and rodeo were all under the direction of young people. They had never seen anything like it. Two youngsters added to the excitement of the 4th of July celebration cele-bration by falling from the monkey mon-key bars and each breaking an arm. Eliza Cooper, daughter of Than and Galeen Cooper had to be taken to St. George due to a complicated break. The break on the arm of Sydney Houston, daughter of the Frank Houstons, was simpler but no less painful. We noticed EMT Bob Smith on-the-job even though he is still recovering from a heart attack himself. She is the daughter of the Ken Roes and will serve her mission in Denmark. The sisters also attended the wedding wed-ding of niece, Robin Roe. The girls have worked here in the summer for years.
