Show Layton Smith visited in Cedar City while Mclba Smith and Christine Shakespear attended the wedding reception in Salt l ake City for a niece, Tresa Lynne Mortenson. Layton had a doctor's appointment in Salt Lake City and they also visited in Cedar City. They visited Ray and Lynda Horsley. Visiting on Saturday with the Smiths were Ike and Deanna Deuel McDonald of Springville. Visiting with David and Delpha Rose and helping Delpha celebrate her birthday were Milton and Brenda Rose, Clifford and Collette Mathews, and Verland and Pam Rose. They also visited Ken and Artoise Piatt and Daniel and Sarah Rose. Olaf and Lyllian Shakespear had Dennis and Brenda Shakespear and Steve and Vickie Coon for the wedding and reception for Lynne and Pam Shakespear. Vickie and Steve brought their new baby girl to show off. Rhoda Shafcr and Rcithene Griffin Grif-fin brought Donna Metcalf back with them from Salt Lake City. Chris Boger is here visiting from March Air Force Base in California with his family and with fiancee, Blyth Shewman. They plan a June 29 wedding. Visitors here at the Robert and Louise Patterson home were Mary and Kathy Bretzing, Kathleen and Pat LeRoy, Salt Lake City, and Linda Patterson and Renae Kush of Sl George. Golda Mclnelly was here visiting visit-ing her daughter LaRona Callahan when she had to be taken to the hospital. Those coming to visit her were Ramona and Rae Copser, Salt Lake City; Theril and Karen Tucker, Denver, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tucker, Grantsville; Verl and Mariam Mclnelly; Mona See Henrieville Page 5-A Henrieville News From Page 3-A Rae Twilchell; Edith Barker; and Shirley Barker. LaRona Callahan and Golda Mclnelly attended the wedding for Shane Callahan in Salt Lake City and then traveled to Colonial Juarez, Mexico to visit LaRona's daughter, LaRhonda Longhurst. Visiting with Lula Moore were Doyle and Kathryn Neilson and Mike and Kathy Murphy. All of the family then joined Darreld and Mary Lou Neilson for a steak fry at the home of Sherrie Hatch. Louise Harrison brought Thora Partner home for Memorial Day. Joyce and Lee Sorenson of Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nev. were also here. Thora returned re-turned north for a doctor's appointment. appoint-ment. Visiting Ruby Moore were Alta Rae Hansen, Terri McCallister, and Jane Poole of Salt Lake City. George Bushnell of Bountiful visited here with Iris Bushnell. Family members visiting Irving and Viola Rose were Tom and Janis Kline and Larry and Laraine Rose. Clem and Clara Johnson visited with Jeff and Kim Johnson and other relatives on their way to Hanksville for Memorial Day. Gladys Johnson, Hanksville, enters the LDS Missionary Training Center, Cen-ter, Provo, on June 5 and will go to Arcadia, Calif, on her mission. Roma Evans came and visited with Berthcne Griffin. Visiting with Kenneth and Elsie Goulding and helping Ken celebrate his 82nd birthday were Wynona and Ernie Henderson, David and Kathryn Pollock, Steve and Kathy Goulding, Ken and JoAnne Goulding, Clatie Savage and Julie and Brian Jolley. Mary Johnson came from Oregon Ore-gon for the graduation of her son, Seth Johnson. Other family members mem-bers here for the occasion were Harold and Rose Webb, John and Evelyn Trane and Ann Bottoma. Dorian Johnson took a load of furniture fur-niture to Oregon and will stay for two weeks. LaDora Baugh took Mary Johnson to Cedar City for her return flight back to Oregon. Thor Johnson took his parents, Thorley and Virginia Johnson, to Bountiful to catch a plane bound for Alaska where they will visit the families of sons Harry Johnson and Roland Johnson. A hamburger barbecue was held for all priesthood members at the LDS Church. The young men and women had an activity night where they cleaned the grounds and planted plant-ed flowers. LaMar and Cherie Feltner were speakers at LDS services. Robert and Helen Willis are on an extended vacation visiting with their family in Nevada and Idaho. |
