Show Alton D. Sudweeks Funeral services were held Monday Mon-day at the Circleville LDS Second Ward chapel for. Alton D. Sudweeks, Sud-weeks, 86, Kingston, Utah who died Dec. 19, 1991 at a Panguitch hospital. He was born July 11, 1905 in Kingston to William and Barbara Alice Savage Sudweeks. He married mar-ried Olive Lewis in Richfield, Utah on Dec. 24, 1948 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was active in the LDS Church and served as bishop in the Kingston Ward. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America and was awarded the Silver Beaver He was a 4-H leader for 20 years; mayor of Kingston for two terms; employed by the U.S. Forest Service; served as chairman for 39 years on the Soil Conservation Board for Piute County; drove the school bus; and farmed his own farms for many years in Kingston and Circleville. His survivors include his wife, Kingston; three sons and two daughters, Alton Lewis Sudweeks and Evan D. Sudweeks, both Kingston; Earl Max Sudweeks; Kilgore, Tex.; Mrs. Bill (Jetta) Broshears, Richfield; and Mrs. Robert (Moneice) Stocker, Logan, ; 17 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Survivors also include three sis ters and two brothers, Mrs. Austin (Zelma) Anderson, Kingston; Irene Fredcriksen, Bountiful; R.W. "Pete" Sudweeks, Kingston; Mrs. Elmer (Myrtle) Greenhalgh, Glen-wood. Glen-wood. A brother, Clinton Sudweeks, Sud-weeks, is deceased. Interment was in Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Neal S. Magleby & Sons, Richfield. |
