" , I ii Mr. and Mrs. Kay Clark Kay Clarks Will Mark 60 Years of Marriage HENRIE VILLE Sunday will mark a diamond wedding anniversary anniver-sary for Kay and Laura Clark who were married 60 years ago Dec 29, 1931 at the St. George LDS Temple. Tem-ple. Both were locally reared, Kay in Cannonville and his wife, the former Laura Smith, in Henrieville. They lived in Kanab for several years where Kay worked as a stunt rider during the period when so many western movies were made in Kanab. They returned to the Bryce Valley area. He also worked on the Glen Canyon Dam and later for a number of years as postmaster at Glen Canyon City while his wife worked as a cook at the hospital in Page, Ariz. Kay retired for health reasons and the two returned to Henrieville where Laura continued to serve as a cook at the Henrieville Senior Citizen Citi-zen Center for several years. The couple had four children, Ronald Clark, Pocatello, Ida.; Mrs. Eugene (LaKay) Quilter and Mary Carol Izatt, Henrieville. A son, S heron Rand Clark, died in 1960. The Clarks have 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. |
