Show Smith Celebrates 80 Years HENRIEVILLE The family of Layton Smith will help him celebrate cel-ebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 4 until 7 p.m. for all friends and relatives on Saturday, Jan. 4 at the LDS cultural hall in Henrieville. Smith, who was born Jan. 6, 1912, married Melba Deuel Jen-, nings in 1954. He has been a farmer and rancher for a big part of his life, working for some time at sawmills and retiring in 1976 as a maintenance worker from Bryce Canyon National Park. He and his wife have three children chil-dren all living with their spouses in Cedar City: Mrs. Rett (Christine) Shakespear,Ed Smith and Mrs. Sid (JoAnn) Goddard.
