Show 679-8552 LaRona Callahan and Mona Rae Twitchell went to Demming, N.M. and brought LaRona's daughter, Cindy Ramirez to stay here for an extended visit Thor Johnson spent a week in Las Vegas visiting his sister Elayne Brough. Jeremiah Boger placed first in his weight division in the state wrestling tournament. He is the son of Ed and Sandy Boger. Congratulations, Con-gratulations, Jeremiah. Katie Morton will be married on April 25 to Rendell Shulties, Bountiful. Close friends and relatives rela-tives are invited to come see them on April 26 after 5 p.m. at Katie's home. Gary and Sandy Johnson took their children to Salt Lake City for the Easter weekend. Robert Patterson went to Las Vegas to spend the weekend with wife Louise and son Allan. Gayle and Frankie Moore had a number of her family members here for the long weekend. Many families got together and went into the hills on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, while the weather was still good. Visiting at the Wetzel home were the Jim Sanders family of Washington and Sarah Wetzel from Snow College. Sarah is working each week at the Bryce Canyon Pines. Thora Partner had daughter Carol from California here to visit for a week with her two children. Then husband Bill brought Mr. and Mrs. Mike Holms from Las Vegas. The Thorley Johnsons have their third great-grandchild, a girl bom to Shauntel and Victor Anderson. David and Diana Sterner, Bountiful are the grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Johnson came from Green River for a visit. Savannah Anderson Thompson, daughter of Beverly and Guy Thompson, was baptized and confirmed con-firmed a member of the LDS church. Lyllian Shakespear had all her family all here for the holidays: Vickie Coon, West Valley City; Dennis Shakespear, Page, Ariz.; Lesa Lyman and Greg Shakespear, Escalante; and Lynne Shakespear, Tropic. Mary Carol Izatt is proud of her first great-grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Izatt, Salt Lake City. Kay and Laura Clark are the great-great-grandparents. Elsie and Ken Goulding attended funeral services in Kanab for the son of Thayne and Joe Smith. We are sorry for their loss. Delpha Rose has been called to work in the St. George LDS Temple on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. |
