Show By Mamie Talbot 676-8084 The freshening rain showers have come just in time to green up lawns and fields that have not had irrigation water yet. Lawns are being mowed to get rid of last years dried grasses and leaves. The lilacs are coming into leaf but the blossoms will be slower. Diane Grimaud and Doeman McGann were married in Nevada on March 27. Diane's three sons from northern Utah were present at the wedding. Son Matt, who has been here with his mother, is in Oregon now where the newlyweds will move this week. Doeman is with the Forest Service. The Ena Schow home has a new roof. Panguitch townsfolk were sorry about the passing of Frank Proctor so soon after the death of his wife, Zina. Myrtle Heywood spent a week in the Dixie area with her brother who has been ill. Skip Houston has received his LDS mission call to Tijuana, Mex. He is the son of Frank and JeriLu Houston. Susie Holman, daughter of Laurel and Louise Holman, will serve a mission in Hong Kong. David Henrie is doing well after his surgery. Carvel and Shirley Henrie are back from the north where he had medical treatment Wally Orton is getting the basement dug for his new home in the northeast section of town, right where he grew up. It's good to see June Davis out after her long recuperation with a broken bone. Marilyn Veater and Lena Miller were here to work on their yards and to visit with the Ron Veaters who came to check on mom and grandma. grand-ma. Rich and Marilyn Talbot along with their children Danielle, Jaz-mine, Jaz-mine, Lacee, Caitlyn, Sessely and Bridger Kent were at grandma Mamie Talbot's over the Easter weekend. Rich is overseeing an archaeological ar-chaeological dig in Richfield for Brigham Young University. The Talbots reside in Orem. The Don Stowells were here for the holiday as were many families who are unknown to us at the present time. We'll write about them next week if folks let us know about them. |
