Show By Jeanne Harshman 335-7348 It's spring again and here in Boulder everyone is cleaning up, fixing up and exchanging seeds to plant flower and vegetable gardens. With spring it's new beginnings and new life and a new baby has arrived at the home of Kim and Mike Latham. A beautiful baby girl named Bethany Aviv was born on March 22, weighing in at 7 lbs. 11 ozs. She was born right here in Boulder surrounded by friends and love. Kim and Renee Lyman have sold their Hilltop Mini Mart and gas station. They will be moving to Escalante and will be missed because be-cause of all their good service to the community. Renee was still in business as Western Stitch, creating many handmade beautiful items. The new owners are Robert and Donna Owen who are residents of Boulder. They have renamed the mini-mart the Hills and Hollows and are open for business. Larry and Judy Davis visited with her parents, Max and Jessie Jones who live in Provo, to help celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. an-niversary. The Boulder Elementary School children traveled to Salt Lake City with their teacher Sue Bassett to see the Utah Symphony perform. Those attending j were Heather and Jennifer Davis, Lucas Catmull and Clint and Liberty Lyman. The students and teachers are planning a Spring Festival Fes-tival in May. Sue Bassett's parents, Enid and Jack Bassett, are visiting from San Diego this week. Our expert local weatherman, Doyle Moosman, informs us that our moisture here has measured 5.71 inches since January and that is j very good. We all appreciate it very much and it has been helpful to our community. i |
