Show By Ella Adair Mary Lee Ramsay enjoyed a visit form her sister Ferrol Lamb of Orderville. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mendenhall visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. DeVan Pollock. Garnell Pollock of Bountiful spent several days with his parents, the Adrian Pollocks. Sandrea Francisco recently attended at-tended three days of training in Cedar City where she also become an instant mother to three foster children, ages 9, 6, and 3 years. A tardy happy anniversary wish to Charley and Evadean Francisco, who were so busy tending little new grandchildren on Tuesday they forgot it was their wedding anniversary. an-niversary. Kay Shakespear is at home recovering re-covering from recent surgery. The LDS Relief Society midweek mid-week was held on Wednesday where pillow-quilts were made for 72-hour kits. Lindsey Pollock, small daughter daugh-ter of the Gordon Pollocks, suffered suf-fered a fall on Saturday and had to be taken to Panguitch then on to Cedar City for a CT scan. Mr. and Mrs. Rhett Wintch of Las Vegas, Nev. spent several days visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Wintch. Paula Hughes of Mesa, Ariz, visited with her sisters, Valerie Grimmer and Sharon Pollock during dur-ing the week. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leavitt of Las Vegas spent the weekend visiting their parents in Tropic and Cannonville. Their two sons, Cody and Jeff stayed to spend their Easter vacation week with their grandparents, the DcRell Sud-weeks Sud-weeks and the Howard Leavitts of Cannonville. Stan and Louise Ott traveled to St, George for medical attention on Louise's hand. The Dean Wintches and the Jack Chynoweths spent the weekend at home. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Clark, brother and sister-in-law of Ethel LeFevre, were recent visitors at the new bed and breakfast in Tropic, owned by Lamar and Ethel LeFevre. Le-Fevre. Jeannene Pollock was in St. George Ge-orge Monday for treatment of an eye problem. Visiting at the Charles Francisco Fran-cisco home during the Easter vacation vaca-tion week, were Evadean's brother and sister-in-law,Kent and Phyllis Webster. Christine Littlefield of Panguitch Pan-guitch visited with her mother Violet Vi-olet Littlefield. The Birch Moore family of Las Vegas visited with her parents the Matland Baughs during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Ott went to Salt Lake City to spend Easter with their children and other relatives rela-tives there. Stan will have medical treatment on his arm while there. Margaret Mecham and Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Mecham, were in Salt Lake City for several days for Margaret to receive medical attention. While there they attended Margaret's Mar-garet's family reunion. Eight brothers and sisters and four companion com-panion spouses were present. On their way home they visited Lizzie Barton in Richfield. They also went by way of Aurora and picked up LaRene Munson who had been there visiting her daughter Elaine Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Malcn Mecham and Viva Mecham attended funeral services in Hatch for Orlas Riggs. Visiting Viva Mecham were her niece Verna and Verna's husband hus-band Dan Chipman and Ivor Riggs. Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson attended the farewell testimonial of their granddaughter Kristie Wilson in Sandy. Kristie has been called to the Philippine mission. LaRene Munson visited her brother Keith Ott in Orem. Kevin and Jeanne Shakespear have Jeanne's father, Boyde Orton living with them. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Feltncr held a small dinner party for their grandfather Louie Haas on his birthday. The flu is still making its rounds and many people in town have been really sick with it Keela Mangum brought Minnie Nielson home from the hospital in Cedar City where she had undergone under-gone surgery on her knees. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hemp, son Brent and granddaughter are visiting visit-ing at the Alston Shakespear home for the Easter holidays. Mr. and Mrs. DeVar Pollock are in St. George for several days. Visiting at the Royal Alvey home for Easter was the Kim Alvey family of Richfield and the Lynn Allen family of Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Malen Littlefield went to Cedar City on Friday for doctor appointments. Visiting at the Larvin Pollock home for Easter was daughter Maureen , Mr. and Mrs. Blake Allen of California and Mr. and Mrs Bill Pollock, Delta. |
