Show New Park For Panguitch City Panguitch Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and Panguitch City are cooperating to establish a public pub-lic park on the old Tabernacle Square with the permission of the LDS Church that owns the land. The Public Library is on one corner of the original square. The all-volunteer project offers many opportunities for Eagle Scouts and other civic-minded individuals. indi-viduals. Bob Smith is in charge of landscaping. The city has picnic tables to use and equipment for mowing and other things. Perhaps public rest-rooms rest-rooms can be built into the library. A water fountain is needed. This project will help build up the City Center and preserve the pioneer area and buildings. It will be a fine place for family activities and a place for tourists to sit or walk about to enjoy the fresh air and beauty of Panguitch. |
