Show Henrieville News Mr. and Mrs. Gene Quilter will take their youngest daughter to St. George this week for hip surgery. The LDS Henrieville Ward Relief Re-lief Society sponsored a spring social so-cial for all adults. Members of the outgoing presidency, Jo Ann Goulding, Rae Smith, Lyllian Shakespear and Virginia B. Johnson were presented roses and a tribute. Gerry Moon of Tropic presented lots of gift ideas at Relief Society work meeting. LaRona Callahan and Edith Barker were in Salt Lake City for medical appointments. Iris Bushnell accompanied daughter Keela Mangum to Salt Lake City on business. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Guilter of American Fork visited with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Quilter and Mr. and Mrs. Thorley Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Johnson and Mark Johnson also visited. Mary Chynowelh and Paula Henrie went to Ogdcn to visit Mr. I and Mrs. Rex Palmer. Rex is recovering re-covering from removal of a kidney and will undergo treatment for cancer. can-cer. Doris Allen has returned from her extended visit in Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Waycaster of Phoenix have been here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wade Waycaster. Speakers for LDS services Sunday Sun-day were Hank Bolton and Vemon Spencer, with a song by the choir. Rachael Johnson was notified by mail that her poem received honor- able mention in the Utah State PTA Reflections contest. She has been invited to attend a special student stu-dent workshop on May 13, presented pre-sented by professionals, teachers and experts in literature, with a luncheon following. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Johnson visited vis-ited in St. George with Mr. and Mrs. Philip Jones and attended the LDS temple. |
