Show Health Fair To Be Part Of Garkane Meet Garkane Power Association's general manager, Glen Willardson, announced plans for the cooperative's coopera-tive's pre-annual meeting activities for Garkane's 1989 annual meeting sessions. Garkane, in conjunction with Intermountain Health Care, will be sponsoring health fair activities to begin at 6 each evening prior to the annual meeting business sessions, I commencing at 7:30 p.m. The first annual meeting session will be held Tuesday, April 25, at the LeRoy S. Johnson Meeting House in Colorado City, Ariz. Representatives from Dixie Medical , Center will be on hand to perform Volood pressure checks and to calculate calcu-late blood sugar levels. Garfield Memorial Hospital & Clinics Association will have representatives rep-resentatives present at the second meeting session held April 26 at the Escalante High School in Es-calante. Es-calante. They will also perform blood pressure checks, blood sugar Jevels, and possibly pulmonary functions tests. , The third meeting session will be held April 27 at the Koosharem Elementary School in Koosharem where Sevier Valley Hospital representatives will be in attendance Jo perform blood pressure checks, blood sugar levels, pulmonary functions test, and offer coupons to receive a serum cholesterol level from their laboratory facility at a discount rate. In conjunction with the health tair, Garkane staff members have ajso planned a Child Find activity. Parents will have the opportunity to have their children fingerprinted, and receive child identification cards to retain for possible emergencies. |
