Show Henrieville Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Quilter took their daughter Shauna and their grandson to Salt Lake City for an appointment with the eye doctor. Then they took them back to their home in Page. Howard Johnson and his new bride visited with the Thorley Johnsons and Jeff Johnsons. Howard is the grandson of Clem Johnson. Harry Partner, recently placed in intensive care unit at Garfield Memorial Hospital because of heart problems is improving. Daughters Louise and Carol came to visit. Carol took her two sons home who had spent the past week here with their grandparents. Irving Rose, struck by the bucket of a backhoe, injured his right arm and chest. The Roses, with daughter Peggy went to Mt. Pleasant to visit family members. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Rose, Blanding and the Collin Roses, Annabella visited several days with the David Rose, Clifford Matthews and Ken Piatt families. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Johnson and son Mark, Cedar City visited relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Johnson spent several days in Provo with the Clem Johnsons where they had medical appointments. Then they visited in Bountiful. The Lee Smiths had sons Bart and Ben, Cedar City and Ethan, Washington as visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Smith are proud of a new granddaughter born to their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith, Escalante. The Robert Pattersons had friends from Salt Lake City for several days. Also daughter Linda was here from Las Vegas. Virginia Smith is home with her daughter Janet and her son Dar. Mr. and Mrs. Dar Smith Jr. brought her here from St. George. Daughter Inez, Kearns also visited with her mother, Virginia Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Benhard had some of their family here from California. They are living in the Min Smith home. Les Barker spent several days in Salt Lake City attending mayor meetings. The Amon Barkers had Mrs. Barker's sister from Antimony here for a visit. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Willis home were their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Heaton, Salt Lake City and sons Daryl Willis and Rick Willis, Eagar, Ariz. Oscar and Jean went north on Tuesday where Jean entered the LDS hospital for tests and surgery on Wednesday. The Thorley Johnsons received word from son Harry of Chandler, Ariz, that he has been made a major In the Air Force. |
