Show - Fanguitch Palter - Judy Henrie Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sargeant were In town during the week. They had been to Tooele to attend the missionary farewell of Jim's grandson, James Taylor, the son of Nell Sargeant Taylor. They have returned to Washington to get ready to move home for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tebbs were in town getting some more of their belongings to take to St. George where they are now living. They have retried their home to the new postmaster, Mr. and Mrs. George Collard. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ahlstrom, Canoga Park, Calif, ahve been here helping his parents the Alfred Hatchs while his mother Opal had surgery, She is now at home recuperating nicely. Karen Yardley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Yardley has been accepted at George Washington University College of Law In Washington. D.C. where she will study for her law degree. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Orton are now home after living in Mesa, Ariz. Visiting them has been their daughter, Gloria Henrie, Richfield. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Lee have been their sons David and Wally and Wally's wife who are attending college at Southern Utah State College. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Wilcock, Powell, Wyo. have been here visiting Mr. Wilcock's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Wilcock and Mrs. Wilcock's mother, Norma Talbot. They brought Hal's brother Dayne home who had been visiting with them. Mrs. Norma Talbot returned with them to visit. Norma Talbot spent a week in St. George at the home of her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Bundy. While there she attended the naming and blessing of her eighth great-grandchild, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Potter. Visiting Elizabeth Foy has been her daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Will Robinson, Las Vegas, Nev. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jay Proctor have been their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Proctor. They attended the golden wedding an-nivserary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Proctor. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Clark received """d that his father Thell Clark passed away ii. Ogden. His wife is the former Nell Proctor, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Frandsen went to Lehi where they visited with their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Frandsen then on to Roosevelt to visit their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shupe. Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Gardner, Cedar City visited his mother Hilda Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Stewart are the parents of their first daughter. She has four brothers at home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jim Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mosdell. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Houston are also the proud parents of a baby girl. She has one sister and four brothers at home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dee Houston and Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Heaton. Mr. and Mrs. Wade Beebe, Cedar City are the parents of a baby boy. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Scrib Gillies and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Beebe, Escalante. Ercil Henrie is now at home after spending 10 days in the hospital following a heart attack. Mr. and Mrs. Champ Henrie and Chris Henrie are home after spending the winter in Mesquite, Nev. Champ is feeling better after being down for two weeks. Myrtle Heywood and her neice Annette Heywood, Sandy and Mr, and Mrs. Bruce Heywood and family traveled to Mesa, Ariz, where they attended a Heywood family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Richards and daughter Lesli; Mr. and Mrs. Ned Richards and daughter Rochelle; and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Owens and son Doug visited Ingra Richards and attended the funeral of Bill Bruhn. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Robinson, Kanab visited with Mrs. Robinoson's mother Donna Johnson, and her brothers and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Johnson. Visiting At the home. of. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Proctor were all of their children and grandchildren to help them celeebrate their golden wedding anniversary; Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Pearson, Coeur d'Alene, Ida.; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Witters, Caliente, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs., Max Proctor, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Veater and Mr. Curtis Veater all Las Vegas, Nev. and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Blake, Kearns. Mr. and Mrs. George Proctor and their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Whiting, Clearfield were in Cedar City where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Proctor. They all went to Washington for Easter, then returned to Panguitch to attend the golden wedding anniversary celebration for the Tom Proctors. Harold Pearson, Circleville visited his sister and her husband, Mr, and Mrs. George Proctor and his mother Nora Pearson and also attended the Proctor anniversary open house. Ramona Proctor's sister Leila Gardner and Rea Mcintosh, Junction; Marilyn Holmes, Elsinore and Janene Savage, Antimony attended the Tom Proctors open house as well as many other out of town relatives and friends. Grace Young visited with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Linden Hatch in Koosharem for Easter. Mr. and Mrs. Miles Barney and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Leach have returned from a five week trip. They visited the Phil Pfielers in Aguyla, Ariz, for a month. Then to Bullhead City, Lake Havasu, Lockland, Las Veags, Death Valley, Overton Beach and Mesquite where they attended a square dance festival. Bert called for a lot of square dancing in their travels. They report they had a wonderful time and are ready to go again. Mr. and Mrs. Lamond Davis and daughter Tamera visited the Gale Wilcocks, Saturday. Then Sunday the Gale Wilcocks attended a family reunion in Cedar City at the Lamond Davises. There were 29 in at-tendance. Sheri Wilcock and Lynette Sawyer met Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thomas in St. George and picked up Tyson Banjo Wilcock after he has spent a week in Las Vegas. Tanner Jo Wilcock spent the wiek with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Wilcock while his parents, Mr. and Mr 8, Ralph Wilcock went camping at Otter Creek Reservoir. |
