Show Panguitch Middle School once again honors its students of the month. This month's winners are sixth grader, Ryan Clark; seventh grader, Kimberly Davenport; and eighth grader, Tony Matthew. Students are chosen for achievements. Circuit Breaker Tax Program Available Applications are available for "Circuit Breaker," a special property tax reduction program for qualified widows and widowers of any age or seniors 65 or over, including those who will be 65 by Dec. 31. The forms may be obtained at the offices of the county clerk or county treasurer at the courthouse in Panguitch where personnel will give assistance in understanding the applications. Generally, applicants may not have had an income exceeding $10,000 for 1984 and must have been a legal resident of Utah for the entire year. The actual reduction is determined on a percentage basis. Applications are being sent to county residents who qualified last year. Others should contact either county office. The deadilne for filing is May 1. |
