Show Tronic Tonics Ella Adair Charley Francisco has been a patient In Garfield Memorial Hospital this week. Mr. and Mre. Alfred Foster, Jr. have a new baby daughter born Oct. 24 InPanguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Foster and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Nielsen arc the proud grandparents. The Desmond Twitchells and Roxie Chynoweth are great grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Don Grimmer, Juneau, Alaska have spent a week visiting with the Dean Wintch family. Son Dennis Wintch was home for the weekend, visiting with ' his sister and her family. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Chynoweth visited with their daughter Renone in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Littlefield and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Deatty spent a few days in Lancaster, Calif, where they visited with their son and sister then on up to Granada Hills to visit their daughter Linda. Viva Mecham has been homebound for a week, due to an Injury to her leg from a fall. Mr. and Mrs. Malen Littlefield were in Salt Lake City and Far- mlngton visiting their son Steve and their sister Rose. Amplus LeFevre visited with her daughter Gaya for a few days, while her daughter Ora Brinkerhof f was in Las Vegas visiting with her daughter Oretta. Sharon Kay Pollock was in Cedar City on business. Valerie Grimmer showed slides of Alaska and also had several artifacts to tell about at the senior citizens dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ott made a trip to Salt Lake City for him to have ' a medical checkup. Flora LeFevre has a new great granddaughter born to Mechele Willis, daughter of her daughter Velma in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Link Chynoweth have a new baby boy, born Oct. 25 in Panguitch. Ora Brinkerhoff is the grandmother, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Chynoweth the grandparents, and Amplus LeFevre and Roxie Chynoweth the great grandmothers. Mr. and Mrs. Del Campbell, St. George spent the weekend with the Afton Pollocks. Aaron Bybee was at the Clive Bybee home during the deer hunt. Spending a few days at the Royal Alvey home and visiting with relatives In Tropic is Danele White, Grantsvillc. Mark Thompson and Kimberly Ruesch visited with the Orlan Ruesches and Rick Bybees. The Escalante LDS Stake Relief Society presidency spent Sunday in Boulder. Ruth Baugh, Nellie Mecham, Krlsty Talbot, Keele Mangum, Florence Syrett and Lillis Francisco enjoyed a Mexican dinner in Or-derville, celebrating their birthdays. The Dexter Franciscos took daughter DeAnn to St. George for an examination on her feet following recent surgery. The Bryce Lady Lions will meet tonight at 7:30 in the scout house. Bonnie Willis and Ella Adair will be hostesses. Tammy Feltner had an appendectomy at Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch. Her friend, David Messer of Beaver, recently returned from an LDS mission stopped to see her in Tropic. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Sandburg have moved to Pink Cliffs. Mr. and Mrs. Birch Moore, Las Vegas are visiting the Matland Baughs. The E. R. Shakespeare visited in Boulder with the Mac LeFevres. Son Ed was at their home for a few days. The Kent Wintches enjoyed a visit from son Kenneth. He and his father enjoyed a hunting trip together, the first in several years. Ray Littlefield enjoyed a visit Honorable mention for outstanding and an award of merit were won by Tropic's Town Park In recent from daughters Renone and Christine. They took him to dfnner to help him celebrate his 81st birthday. Several announcements were made in LDS sacrament meeting on Sunday. (1) New ward memberships for the Bart Palmer family and Rose Salerno were read; (2) Road Show practice will be held in preparation of the production on Nov. 13 and 14. Civic Beautification program, which was sponsored by The Salt Lake Tribune in state-wide competition. All participants are asked to be in attendance: and (3) Priesthood temple day will be Saturday, Nov. 3. Danna Baugh and Janna Baugh had their 12th birthday, and the family helped them celebrate by, going out to dinner. They were graduated from Primary and welcomed into the MIA program in sacrament meeting. The Bart Palmer family presented the program in sacrament meeting. Trevor Stewart was ordained a teacher. Sandra Francisco has been released as the Den leader for the eight-year-olds and Peggy Palmer will take her place. Hazel Sanders, Fredonia, Ariz, visited with the Adrian Pollocks. |
