Show Tropic Ward Slates Pioneer Day Events TROPIC Tropic Ward will benefit from Pioneer Day activities in town as well as from a rodeo planned for Ruby's Inn on Saturday evening, July 26. Thursday's Pioneer Day activities will commence at 10 a.m. with the traditional parade of Primary childrens' and Sunday School floats, a time-honored beginning for every Pioneer Day. A flag ceremony, childrens' races and bake sale will be held at the Scout House at 10:30 a.m. A special movie at 1 p.m. at Bryce Valley high school gym, "Outlaws is Coming" with the three Stooges will entertain children of all ages. A barbecue dinner at 3:30 p.m. at the Scout House sponsored by the Tropic Ward Seventy's Quorum will feature dinner at $10 per family or $3 per person. Thursday evening will be topped off with a rodeo at the Tropic Tedeo grounds featuring a calf scramble and concessions with goodies to tempt everyone. Saturday night's rodeo at Ruby's Inn will be major attraction and is expected to be a top fund raiser for the Tropic Ward budge besides providing an evening of outstanding entertainment with professional rodeo stock and experienced riders. Another bake sale with outstanding concessions will elp to make the evening a success. |
