Show Homecoming Week Panguitch Homecoming Week is well underway with friends and relatives gathering for the annual Pioneer Day celebration on Thursday featuring daylong activities for the entire family. Festivities will start with a parade down Main Street at 10 a.m. followed by a special homecoming program at the Panguitch LDS Stake Center,, presented by the Daughters of the UtahV Pioneers. Lunch time will bring a chuck wagon dinner at Panguitch City Park with sports events in the afternoon at the fairgrounds. A stake dance will take place at 9 p.m. at the Stake center. Rodeos are scheduled Friday and Saturday evenings with more than $5,200 in prizes. The Rocky Mountain Rodeo Association approved rodeos will feature a colt chase on Friday evening and Brown's Secialty Roman Riding Act on Saturday evening. Saturday morning's breakfast at Panguitch City Park will cost $2 a plate to get the day started. |
